What Requirements Must Be Met When Choosing An Energy Storage Battery

Sep 05, 2024Leave a message

As an energy storage power station that cooperates with photovoltaic power generation integration, achieves peak shaving and valley filling, load compensation, and improves power quality applications, energy storage batteries are a very important component. When selecting energy storage batteries, the following requirements must be met:
1. Easy to implement multiple combinations to meet higher operating voltages and larger operating currents;
2. The detectability and diagnosability of battery capacity and performance enable the control system to achieve scheduling and control of power plant loads while predicting battery capacity and performance;
3. High safety and reliability: Under normal use, the normal service life of the battery is not less than 15 years;
4. In extreme cases, even if a fault occurs, it should still be within a controllable range, and there should be no accidents that endanger the safe operation of the power station, such as explosions or combustion;
5. Has good fast response and high rate charging and discharging capabilities, generally requiring 5-10 times the charging and discharging capacity; High charge discharge conversion efficiency;
6. Easy to install and maintain;
7. Has good environmental adaptability and a wide working temperature range;
8. Comply with environmental protection requirements, and do not cause environmental damage or pollution during battery production, use, and recycling processes.
