The common energy storage battery is lead-acid battery (lithium-ion energy storage batteries with lithium iron phosphate as the positive electrode material are gradually being developed).
Energy storage batteries are divided into the following three categories:
1. Exhaust type energy storage lead-acid batteries - batteries with liquid replenishment and gas release devices on the battery cover.
2. Valve regulated energy storage lead-acid batteries - Each battery is sealed, but each battery has a valve that allows gas to overflow when the internal pressure exceeds a certain value.
3. Lead acid batteries for colloidal energy storage - batteries using colloidal electrolytes.
