What are the reasons for insufficient battery power

1. The electrolyte of the battery should not diffuse, and the chemical reaction rate of the active substances at both poles will slow down;
2. The impedance of the battery electrolyte increases, the battery voltage decreases, and the battery capacity decreases as the battery temperature decreases. So the usage time of batteries is shorter in winter than in summer, especially for batteries used in cold storage. Due to their large discharge capacity, the actual usage time will be significantly reduced. To extend the service life of batteries, it is necessary to increase the operating environment temperature before entering winter.
The guaranteed capacity of a typical battery is at an ambient temperature of 25 ° C. For every degree below 25 ° C, the capacity decreases by one percent. This is a common characteristic of batteries, where the temperature decreases, the diffusion coefficient decreases, the diffusion rate slows down, and the internal resistance of the battery increases, resulting in a decrease in battery capacity. Batteries are most afraid of low temperatures, and the capacity of batteries in low-temperature environments is much lower than that at room temperature.
Batteries that are used normally at normal ambient temperatures may suddenly run out of power in cold places. Therefore, when the cold winter arrives, it is necessary to check the height of the battery electrolyte. If it is necessary to replenish the battery electrolyte, adjust the specific gravity of the battery, check the battery's storage condition, charge it if necessary, clean the battery wiring, and apply special grease for protection to extend the battery's life.
